– Recognized as an outstanding team player.
– Played box lacrosse with Brantford Bulls (1949-52)
– Played box lacrosse with Dundas Hornets (1953-55)
– Played box lacrosse with Oshweken Mohawks (1964-1965).
– Captain and MVP with the Hornets for 3 consecutive seasons.
– Played with / against such lacrosse greats as Garland “Beans” Martin, Ross Powless, Hook Martin, & Buck Smith.
– When he retired after almost 20 seasons as a player, he continued to referee the game at all levels.
