The Athletic Lacrosse Club was started in 1877 and has had great success over the years.
Upper Photograph on the North Wall
The photograph which is affectionately known as “Haig Bowl on a Saturday Night” is from a 1951 game being played by the Senior Athletics.
The Athletics in the photograph are:
– Joe McNulty #5 in the foreground;
– Steve Oneschuck #18 taking the shot;
– Don Frick #9 in the background.

Matt Vinc, one of the most highly decorated Athletics, has been a life long resident of St. Catharines. A graduate of Holy Cross Catholic Secondary School in 2001, Matt attended Canisius College in Buffalo and graduated in 2005 with a degree in the Concurrent Education and Bachelor of Science Program. He presently teaches Physical Education and Science at Denis Morris Catholic High School.
