Matt Vinc Lacrosse Biography

Matt has been a life long resident of St. Catharines.  A graduate of Holy Cross Catholic Secondary School in 2001, Matt attended Canisius College in Buffalo and graduated in 2005 with a degree in the Concurrent Education and Bachelor of Science Program.  He presently teaches Physical Education and Science at Denis Morris Catholic High School.

Individual:

2000, 2001 & 2002
The Dean McLeod Trophy for the Most Valuable Player in Junior “A” play offs.  2000 was shared with Brandon Miller of Orangeville and 2002 with Johnny McLelland of Toronto Beaches.

2001, 2002 & 2003
The Robert Melville Memorial Trophy for the Most Outstanding Goaltenders in Junior “A”.  Over those years, he shared the award with: Nick Smith; Ryan Monaghan; Mike Attwood; and Dan Sams.

The Green Gaels Trophy/Dennis MacIntosh Award Most Valuable Player in Junior “A”.

The E.W. Billy Evans Award for the Most Outstanding Graduating Player in Junior “A”.
